Star Wars: Galactic Racer has broadly proven to be a smash hit with critics, and fans seem similarly enthusiastic, but developer Fuse Games has heard the concern regarding multiplayer party sizes and has responded via the game’s official social media. Resultingly, it appears we should be able to expect an update to increase the multiplayer party size from three to six players at some point within the next few weeks.
“Thank you so much for your feedback and we’d like to let you and everyone on this thread know that we hear you,” the developer responded to various fans raising the concern online. “We’re working on an update to increase the party size from three to six players, with the aim of releasing it within the first few weeks of launch.”
More details will be available soon, the developer noted.
IGN’s Star Wars: Galactic Racer review called it “a fabulous looking and frantically fast anti-grav racer… that has successfully lit the afterburners on a long-dormant slice of the Star Wars universe.”
