Dungeons & Dragons: World of Warcraft Revealed, Includes Every Playable WOW Species and Class

Dungeons & Dragons maker Wizards of the Coast has fully unveiled its big crossover with World of Warcraft.

Announced this evening at Gen Con 2026, the D&D: Worldcraft expansion book will be accompanied by the Icecrown Citadel Map Pack, which takes characters from level 16 up to level 20.

World of Warcraft is the first D&D expansion under the new Universes Beyond banner, which brings third-party franchises together with classic tabletop gameplay. Created alongside Blizzard, D&D: WOW will bring Warcraft back to the tabletop for the first time in two decades.

Crafted using elements from across WOW lore, the expansion is designed for players keen to explore Azeroth during any of its eras, with a broad range of character choices, dungeons and quests available.

Impressively, the expansion book will include details of every playable WOW species and class (even Pandaren), as well as 26 magic items, seven iconic WOW dungeons, 30 dungeon boss stat blocks, 60+ new spells, 50+ new monsters, 23 factions with renown rewards, professions, mounts, companion creatures and more.

D&D: World of Warcraft pre-orders are live now, with early access available from November 3. The expansion's wide release will then take place on November 17, as the main anchor point for D&D's upcoming Season of Champions.
